1. MS student Tawsif Raaz awarded a one-year Environmental Research and Education fellowship for his work studying “Methane Emissions from Different Landfill Covers and Their Impact on Whole Landfill Emissions Estimates.”
2. Team from the University of Southampton, Technische Universiteit Delft (TUDelft, Netherlands), Technische Universität Braunschweig (Germany), and the University of Delaware present work on “Gas Tracer Tests to Identify Spatial Distribution of Air Flow Throughout a Landfill Under In Situ Aeration” at SARDINIA 2025 (https://www.sardiniasymposium.it/).
3. Paul Imhoff served as co-covener of the session Showcasing Methodologies and Datasets for Tracking Greenhouse Gas Emissions: A Dialogue Between Fields at the American Geophysical Union Annual Meeting.
